In the recently released sequel to "Men in Black" (MIB II), agent Kay and agent Jay cruise the alien beat in a black 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan that not only provides a stylish ride but transforms into a space car to help hunt down the villains. The car's role is part of an international marketing campaign by Mercedes-Benz and Columbia TriStar that includes an online game available in four languages (see www.mercedes-benz.com) in which "agents" have to stop aliens from stealing Mercedes-Benz fuel cell technology.Released in Europe earlier this year, the "real" E-Class flagship - the E500 - will feature a 5.0L, V-8 engine producing 302 hp at 5,600rpm1, five-speed automatic transmission with Touch Shift and newly developed dual air-controlled, independent 5-arm multi-link rear suspension with an active damping system, multifunction steering wheel and optional keyless entry along with the expected array of high-tech and luxury features. The pic at top right is the view from the dashboard of the concept Merc. Even if you are not into games, it's worth checking out the future of clever collaborative on-line marketing by visiting the game site at www.mercedes-benz.com/MIB2
