Mitsubishi to unveil Eclipse Concept-E at Detroit Motor Show

The attention of the automotive world will turn to Detroit in January for the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) - and manufacturers are already providing a taste of what to expect. Among them, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation have announced that the Eclipse Concept-E high-performance sports concept car will make its global debut at the show.
Mitsubishi describe the Eclipse Concept-E as "forcefully projecting a high-performance sports car image" and giving "graphic expression to MMC's focus on delivering pure driving pleasure with levels of dynamic handling and exhilarating performance close to those found in the motorsport arena".
These tantalising sketches were released by Mitsubishi this week - stay tuned for updates on this and other previews of the North American International Auto Show (the Detroit Motor Show) which runs from January 4-19, 2004 at the Cobo Center in Detroit (opens to the general public on 10 January).
