April 11,2007 Samsung Electronics’ most recent addition to its audiovisual offerings is the Samsung K3 MP3 player. Similar to its predecessor, the K5, the Samsung K3 features an intuitive touch-screen navigation menu, FM radio, JPEG image and text viewer, all displayed on a vibrant 1.8-inch Organic Liquid Electronic Display (OLED) screen. The K3 comes without the inbuilt speaker of the K5, and accordingly is considerably slimmer at just 6.65mm. The Samsung K3’s optional docking speaker is a slip case that doesn’t add much to the slim profile.

The K3 commands attention with smooth glass-like looks and framed in chrome. Coupled with Samsung’s proprietary Digital Natural Sound engine (DNSe), it produces a clear, balanced and resonant sound despite being its wafer thin profile.

With three flash-memory models, the Samsung K3 is available as 1MB, 2MB or 4MB.

Memory: 1GB/2GB/4GB Product Colour: Black Display: 1.8” Full-colour TFT LCD Playback: 25 hours Dimensions (WxHxD) 96x44x6.95mm Weight: 50g
