Iomega introduces ScreenPlay TV Link

August 17, 2008 Iomega's new ScreenPlay TV Link is an compact, low-cost multimedia solution catering for playback of movies, music and photos on your TV from USB external storage devices without the need for a computer.
Based on the same display technology as Iomega's ScreenPlay HD Multimedia drive introduced in April 2008, the 3.26" H x 3.07" W x .78" L ScreenPlay TV Link includes a full-function remote control and connects to USB hard drives (NTFS or FAT32), Flash drives or an Iomega REV Drive.
AV output options include HDMI, composite video and audio (R/L,) component video (Y, Pb, Pr) and optical & coaxial digital audio.
Output resolution can be set at 480i/480p with upscaling ability to 720p and 1080i. With extensive support for a range of media formats, [MPEG-1, MPEG-2 (AVI/VOB), MPEG-4 (AVI/DiVX 3.11, 4.x, 5.x/XViD), MP3, AC3 (Dolby Digital Encoding), WAV, WMA, OGG and JPEG] the $99.95 unit is a cost effective way to bridge the gap between your PC and your HD TV.
